Bei Eintritt in das Kantonsspital wird ein Depotbetrag erhoben, den Sie nach Abschluss der Behandlung bei Ihrer Krankenkasse zurückfordern können, sofern diese die Kosten der Behandlung trägt. Die Höhe dieses Depotbetrags richtet sich nach den geplanten Leistungen und Ihrem Versicherungsstatus.

At admission to the Kantonsspital St. Gallen you have to provide a security deposit. After the treatment has been completed you can call in the security deposit from your health insurance in case they provided coverage. The amount of the security deposit depends on the intended treatment and services as well as on the type of insurance coverage
